For generations, Pioneer Days has brought the Carey community together to celebrate hard work, tradition, and the spirit of the American West. This film isn't about a single winner—it's about everyone willing to nod their head and take the ride.

Filmed over the course of one unforgettable day, The Ride follows the rhythm of the rodeo through moments of anticipation, triumph, and resilience. Every competitor steps into the arena knowing there's no guarantee of success—only the opportunity to give everything they have.

My goal with The Ride was to balance the intensity of the competition with the quieter moments that often go unnoticed—the focused expressions before the gate opens, the dust settling after a ride, and the connection between riders, horses, and the community.

The result is a film that feels as authentic as the day itself.
