The Best Stories Start With Real People.

Hi, I'm Josh.

I'm a filmmaker and photographer based in Idaho, creating work for athletes, brands, businesses, families, and people with stories worth telling.

For me, this has never been about chasing trends or creating something flashy. It's about paying attention, building trust, and making work that still means something years from now.

From

Hawaii

to Idaho

I grew up in Hawaii, where family, community, and the outdoors were part of everyday life. Those experiences shaped the way I see people and taught me to appreciate the moments that often pass by unnoticed.

After moving to Idaho, I found a different landscape but the same values: hard work, strong communities, and people who care deeply about what they do.

Photography started as a way to remember the people and places that mattered to me. Over time, it became a way to connect with others and help preserve their own stories.

Today, whether I'm working with an athlete preparing for competition, helping a business share its mission, or documenting a family's next chapter, my approach is the same.

Take the time to listen first. Create with purpose. Deliver something that still matters years from now.

What Shapes My Work

Athlete's Mindset

Training has taught me that progress comes from consistency, preparation, and showing up even when no one is watching. I bring that same mindset to every project.

Coach First

Coaching youth sports, weightlifting, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has taught me how to communicate, encourage confidence, and help people feel comfortable under pressure. That's exactly how I approach every shoot.

Relationships Matter

The strongest images come from real connections. I take the time to understand the people I work with so the final photographs and films reflect who they truly are.

What You'll Usually

Find Me Doing

A muscular man sitting in a dark gym, wearing a black cap and black sports attire, with tattoos on his arms, possibly resting after lifting weights.

Photography is only one part of my life.

Most days you'll find me training in the gym, on the mats at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, coaching athletes, spending time with my family, or exploring Idaho's mountains and backroads.

Those experiences keep me curious, grounded, and connected to the communities I enjoy working with.

The Moments

We Keep

Some moments change our lives.

Others seem ordinary until years later.

A championship season.

A growing family.

The launch of a business.

An early morning in the mountains.

Time has a way of turning today's routines into tomorrow's memories.

That's why I do this work.

Not to create something that simply looks good, but to create something you'll still be grateful to have years from now.
